What is NEMTB?

New England Mountain Bikers is a bunch of people who enjoy mountain biking in the New England region of NSW Australia.  We put on races and hold social rides as well as travelling away to mtb events around NSW.  We have regular club meetings and social nights.  Membership is open to anyone. To become a member of NEMTB you must first become a member of Mountain Biking Australia (our parent association).  This costs $80 per year and covers you to race anywhere in Australia and even provides insurance cover for club endorsed social rides and some training.  The club membership fee is $10 for full and $5 for juniors and students. November race cancelled

Hi folks, the race scheduled for November 15th has had to be cancelled as the organisers (Trotter's) are moving house.

There are however some other events that you might be interested in that are on the week or two after this...

Working Bee...

A working bee has been organised for Saturday, 13th September, starting at 2pm.

Bring your tools and help scratch out some new track at Sport UNE.  More helpers mean more new track for the race the following weekend.

Race Calender

We have worked out a race calendar for the rest of this year. Races will be on the 3rd Saturday of each month. We would like people volunteer to organise a race. This doesn't mean running the whole race yourself but just organising the type of race (Cross Country, Enduro, Etc.), the track, someone to time the race, And other things like that. Marinda Teseling has kindly volunteered to run the next race which will be on the 21st of June. Races will then be on the:
19th July
16th August
20th September
18th October
15th November

Remember you wont have to do everything by yourself, there will be people to help, But this will make life easier for the people who normally organise races.
